A schoolboy was punched in the face and threatened with a knife for his bike.
Merseyside Police were called to Argyle Street South in Birkenhead, Wirral, just before 9.15pm on Tuesday, July 4, following reports of an incident. Once police arrived it was reported two men approached a 13-year-old in the street before stating they had a knife.
The boy was punched in the face and the offenders made off with the boy's bike towards Hinderton Road. The victim suffered bruising to the face and was very shaken by the incident.

Police have said at no point was a weapon seen by the victim. The bike was later found abandoned nearby.
Police are now appealing for information on the incident and are asking witnesses to come forward.
