A 12-year-old school boy has tragically died after his electric scooter collided with a bus during the morning rush hour. The youngster was riding the vehicle past a McDonald's in Birmingham at around 8am on Tuesday, when he was fatally struck by the bus.
Police have confirmed that the boy died at the scene and that his family have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers, the Mirror reports. Two ambulances and two paramedics raced to the scene at Bordesley Green in Birmingham in an attempt to save the boy who has not yet been named.
