A 10-year-old boy was taken to hospital after a hit and run in Warrington.
Cheshire Police confirmed that at around 3.35pm on March 25, the young boy was crossing at the traffic lights on Farrell Street before he was hit by a grey BMW motorbike. The rider stopped but left before officers arrived at the scene, CheshireLive reports.
The boy was taken to hospital by paramedics and received treatment for minor injuries. But now, officers from Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision or to hear from the rider of the bike.

Police Constable Hannah Dodgson said: "Thankfully the child suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision but it doesn’t bear thinking about what could have happened. The Farrell Street area would have been busy at this time of day due to the nearby school and so I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to us, to please do so.
"The same goes to anyone who may have captured dashcam or CCTV footage of the motorbike prior or just after the collision. I would also ask the rider of the motorbike to please come forward to police so that they can assist with our enquiries."
