A school is paying tribute to three pupils from the same year group who all died tragically within two years of one another.
Students of Bassaleg High School, in Newport, have mourned the passing of three classmates since 2017.
The school was left grief stricken after 15-year-old Tom Rowe took his own life at his family's home in Newport, just 10 months after his older brother died in 2017.
In May last year, 16-year-old Lucy Ellis, a gifted gymnast with an identical twin sister at the school, died after contracting sepsis.
Now the school has been further beset with tragedy after 17-year-old Izzy Withers died of a brain tumour in August, less than a year after her diagnosis.

Head of Bassaleg School Victoria Lambe said the entire school has pulled together to cope with the loss of three pupils.
"Their year group have suffered an extraordinary amount of tragedy for a group of pupils their age," the head said.
"But what it has developed in them is a massive amount of resilience.
"They have pulled together as a group of friends and it is difficult for me to put into words how they have developed quite a strong bond.
"They have found it quite hard to understand why but they have reacted incredibly maturely."

Tom Rowe was the first pupil the year group lost in October, 2017.
The 15-year-old football fanatic took his own life just 10 months after his older brother Matthew, 20, also a former Bassaleg pupil, also took his own life while studying at the University of Manchester.
Tom and Mathew's mum Louise Rowe said: "Tom wouldn't talk about it. It obviously bothered him more than we knew.
"He was a typical 15-year-old - full of fun and mischief but nothing nasty.
He loved football. He had loads and loads of friends. He was a really lovely and outgoing gentle giant."
Tom's sister Charlotte spoke to WalesOnline earlier this year about the loss of her two brothers .

Lucy Ellis was a gifted gymnast who attended Bassaleg with her identical twin sister Sophie.
The 16-year-old was rushed to the Royal Gwent Hospital in May, 2018, after complaining of flu-like symptoms and breathing difficulties.
She was diagnosed with sepsis but sadly died a short time later.
Since her death, her family have set up the Lucy Ellis Foundation, which aims to ensure hospitals in Wales have access to a specialist equipment, and to raise awareness of the early symptoms of sepsis.
Speaking to WalesOnline last year, Lucy's father Neil Ellis described as a "special girl" who had "touched many people's lives in the short time of her life".
"She was the most athletic person I knew, and seeing her progress was amazing," he said.

Izzy Withers was just 16 when she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in September last year.
The teenager underwent radiotherapy and received end-of-life care at Ty Hafan children's hospice in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Earlier this summer, Izzy received a special message from Gavin and Stacey stars Ruth Jones and Rob Brydon .
Tracy Jones, head of community services and partneships at Ty Hafan described Izzy was "special young lady".
On Sunday August 4, a special festival dubbed Izzyfest was held at Crosskeys Rugby Club's Pandy Park.
The whole event was arranged in just a few weeks to ensure Izzy felt well enough to attend.
Izzy's headteacher Victoria Lambe said 17-year-old Izzy died of her brain tumour in August.

On October 6, a team made up of staff at Bassaleg High School will compete in the Cardiff Half Marathon.
The group will be raising money for the Lucy Ellis Foundation, and the Jacob Abraham Foundation, a charity set up to offer mental health support, in memory of the three students.
Victoria said: "I just feel very proud that we can take something so tragic and do something positive to remember them really, and raise a bit of money for our community.
"The pupils have massively thrown themselves into fundraising and driving mental health support for other people.
"It has held the pupils, staff and parents together here. I think that is why staff felt compelled to do something and felt compelled to do it together."
