Former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has revealed she sleeps with holy water and a Bible next to her bed at night.
The 32-year-old is reportedly scared a demon will possess her in the night so takes precautionary steps to avoid being taken over by an evil entity.
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner told how she takes protective measures before hitting the hay because “you never know when it’s going to happen”.
The County Durham native told the Daily Star: “One day you could be sat watching RuPaul's Drag Race and the next minute you could be possessed by a demon.
"Demons come in many forms and attempt to occupy the most unsuspecting of hosts. That's why a lot of kids end up demonic don't they? Because who would suspect it? How would they know?
"I do actually sleep with holy water next to the bed. And there's a Bible under the bed. I do actually have quite a lot to protect us."
Scarlett revealed her defensive actions just weeks after she was confronted by another horror, which she’s also taken steps to protect herself from.
She was nearly kidnapped by a stalker at a train station in a terrifying ordeal which served as a reminder to her to be careful of what she shares online.
The presenter was approached by a man as she arrived into London's King Cross station last month, who said: "Scarlett, I’ve been waiting for you. You’re coming home with me."
Scarlett described the kidnap attempt as "scary" but a wake-up call about what she now shares on her social media pages.
"I'm, in a way, pleased that it happened because it reminded us of how important it is to be mindful of what you're posting on social media," she told MailOnline.
"Honestly, the LNER staff... because it was the train guards that walked me to my hotel, they were honestly amazing. They were like, 'We're not just doing this because you're off the telly,' and I was like, 'I know!' because I've seen them do things for loads of people at the train stations so I think that's why it's important that they're there."
Scarlett added: "I'm just reminding people to be cautious of what they're posting because social media is a really fun place and it should be like that and we should be able to share experiences and all of that stuff, but yeah, we just need to be careful."
