The number of players away from Tottenham on loan could potentially increase with less than a week left until transfer deadline day. Currently having eight featuring for different clubs across the globe, the final week of the winter market has brought about a few loan exits in the past.
It was another mixed week for the current loanees, with a couple of players impressing and some having to make do with very little pitch time. So how did Tottenham's loan players get on over the past week? football.london takes a look.
Destiny Udogie (Udinese)
Udinese returned to winning ways last Sunday following a late 1-0 win away at Serie A strugglers Sampdoria. Udogie once again caught the eye for his team in his 90 minutes on the pitch, which saw him come up against fellow Tottenham player Harry Winks.
Having two shots, one of which was a big chance missed, he also created two chances, had a pass completion rate of 86%, won nine of his duels and made two successful dribbles. Udinese, who are now in seventh and seven points adrift of the European places, face Hellas Verona at home on Monday evening.

Joe Rodon (Rennes)
After helping Rennes to a famous 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain last time out, the French side crashed back down to earth with a 1-0 defeat away at Marseille in the Coupe de France. Rodon kept his place in the team and played the full 90 minutes in the game at the Orange Velodrome.
Ahead of the trip to Marseille, Rodon spoke to Rennes' official website and gave an insight into losing his place in the team and finding himself on the bench before starring in a back five in the win over Lionel Messi and Co.
"Four or five defenders, all systems are fine with me. I don't have a favourite," he explained. "For any player, it's not fun to be a substitute, but the most important thing is to stay focused and work hard while waiting for the opportunity to play.
"It's good for the coach to have several options. We have experienced this with several serious injuries in recent weeks. The priority is the team, you have to train seriously, then it's up to the coach to make the decisions."
Rodon are Rennes are back in action on Friday evening when they travel to Lorient, before then hosting Strasbourg in the league five days later.
Troy Parrott (Preston North End)
Parrott has returned to action in Preston's past two games after having to spend three months on the sidelines. Sustaining a freak hamstring injury when scoring the winner for the Lancashire side at Norwich City at the start of October, the player made his return against the Canaries in their recent 4-0 home defeat.
Getting another nine minutes under his belt last weekend as they won 2-1 at Birmingham City, the Republic of Ireland international will unfortunately have to watch on from the stands on Saturday as he is ineligible for the game between Preston and his parent club in the FA Cup.
Speaking on The Weekend Warm Up on Preston's YouTube channel, the youngster admitted that he was "a bit gutted" after seeing Tottenham paired against his loan side in the fourth round of the competition.
"Obviously it will be a good game to watch at Deepdale. I was a bit gutted in a way that I can't play," he said. "Obviously all I need now is game time and minutes and stuff, so to miss out on another week of football is not ideal. It is what it is."
When asked if he will be able to fill in Ryan Lowe's side on Tottenham, the 20-year-old made it clear that would not be happening. "No, I'm staying out of that one," he laughed.
Parrott's next opportunity to play will be a week on Saturday when the Championship side host Bristol City at Deepdale.
Dane Scarlett (Portsmouth)
The minutes have unfortunately dried up for Scarlett of late. Getting minutes here and there at the turn of the year for Portsmouth, the striker has been an unused substitute in new manager John Mousinho's first two league games in charge of the south coast club.
With less than a week left in the transfer window, Tottenham may want to take a look at the youngster's current situation as he ideally needs to be playing week in, week out to help aid his development. Tottenham do usually have a recall option in their loan deals for the club's youngsters, with players such as Jack Clarke and Parrott recalled in January before heading elsewhere in the past.
All eyes will be on Scarlett this weekend to see if minutes come his way when they visit Peterborough.
Harry Winks (Sampdoria)
After finally making his Sampdoria debut last Monday, Sunday saw Winks handed his first start for the Serie A club in their home match against Udinese. A big moment for the player in his quest to get his career back on track, he did come in for praise from Blucerchiati boss Dejan Stankovic ahead of the encounter.
"I'm pleased for Winks as he’s back playing football again," the Serbian told the Italian club's official website. "He’s suffered so much, but he’s given his all to get back and help the team out. I don’t want to heap the pressure on him because we can only get out of this situation as a squad.
"I can see it in everyone’s eyes that there’s a desire to turn the situation around. We’re in for a fight and we mustn’t let up for even a second."
Winks unfortunately couldn't inspire his side to a much-needed victory as they lost 1-0 courtesy of a goal two minutes from time. The player, who received a score of 6/10 from Genova Today, had a pass completion rate of 92% from his 48 passes, was accurate with all three of his long balls, played six passes into the final third, made seven recoveries, one interception and won five of his duels.
A tricky away tie against Atalanta is on the agenda for Winks and his Sampdoria teammates on Saturday evening.
Sergio Reguilon (Atletico Madrid)
Reguilon had to watch on from the stands on Saturday as Atletico Madrid secured a 3-0 win over Real Valladolid. Having seen red the previous week away at Almeria, the left-back was suspended for the game and not available for selection.
The loanee is available once again for Thursday evening's Madrid derby in the Copa del Rey. The game will give Reguilon, if selected, the opportunity to play against his former club Real Madrid after departing Los Blancos for Tottenham in 2020.
Osasuna are Atleti's opponents in the league on Sunday afternoon.
Tanguy Ndombele (Napoli)
Ndombele once again had to settle for limited minutes off the bench for Napoli at the weekend as they secured all three points away at Salernitana. Brought on for the last five minutes of the contest, the Frenchman had limited time to have an impact on the game but he did pick up a yellow card deep into stoppage time.
This weekend will see Ndombele have a reunion with former Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho as the Naples-based club host Roma on Sunday evening.
Giovani Lo Celso (Villarreal)
Lo Celso took a big step in his quest to return to match action by taking to the Villarreal training pitch on Tuesday. Out of action since October after sustaining a hamstring injury that saw him cruelly miss out on a place in Argentina's successful World Cup squad, Villarreal tweeted a picture of the midfielder at their training base.
It was captioned: "We're looking forward to seeing you back on the pitch, @LoCelsoGiovani."
