'Scared to admit' - Mohamed Salah's agent shares cryptic Twitter post after latest Liverpool win

Mohamed Salah's agent has shared a cryptic message on social media after his client's latest Liverpool match-winner.

Salah moved to 30 goals for the season on Saturday afternoon, scoring the decisive goal in a narrow victory over Brentford. The Egyptian has now netted in each of his previous nine home appearances and has reached a century of goals at Anfield.

The Egyptian's first-half strike versus Brentford was his 186th goal in a Reds shirt - a tally bettered by only Billy Liddell, Gordon Hodgson, Roger Hunt and Ian Rush - as he continues to move up the list in the all-time scoring charts.

Discussing the legacy of Salah after Saturday's win, Jamie Carragher suggested the 30-year-old could easily be considered one of the five greatest players to have represented the club by the time his days at Anfield are over. "I think when Mo Salah eventually stops playing for the club, I think he goes right in there in terms of the top players to have ever played for the team. I think he goes in an all-time Liverpool eleven and you could argue he is in the top five or six players to have ever played for the club," he told Sky Sports.

It seems this is a view also shared by agent of the former Chelsea forward, Ramy Abbas Issa, who has seemingly made reference to how Salah is viewed in comparison to former Liverpool greats. Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "Just because a footballer retired years or decades ago, doesn’t mean we should be scared to admit he’s not as good as someone playing today. Aside from that, succeeding as a footballer today is a lot harder than it used to be. There’s much more competition."
