Say Goodbye To the Honda CB1300 With These Gorgeous Final Editions

Well, that didn't take long. If you're feeling like it was only a few days ago that Honda Japan posted a special teaser website about the upcoming final editions of the CB1300, you're totally correct about that. At the time, rumors were swirling in the Japanese press that the graphics on this Final Edition would be of the throwback variety, paying homage to the OG Project Big-1. For Honda stans, it's a thing the firm frequently does with final editions; and, I mean, wouldn't you?

Lest the suspense eat us alive, Honda has now officially announced the CB1300 Final Edition models and graphics. In addition to their special paint schemes, the CB1300 Super Four Final Edition, CB1300 Super Bol d'Or Final Edition, CB1300 Super Four SP, and CB1300 Super Bol d'Or SP will get ... a special Final Edition sticker, located just on the top of the fuel tank.

They'll also get a gold-colored drive chain, as well as a silver-colored swingarm, steering stem, and top triple. It's sort of like adding a little jewelry accent to finish off the outfit, right?

Speaking of which, what are the actual bikes going to look like? So glad you asked. There are two colorways on offer for the Final Editions, basically. There's a Graphite Black scheme, and there's a Pearl Sunbeam White scheme (which also has a gorgeous, rich red that Honda fans will no doubt recognize, since it's been used on plenty of machines in the OEM's past).

All of the CB1300 Final Editions will be available through Honda Dream dealers in Japan beginning on Friday, February 28, 2025. That might explain why the company announced them so soon after putting out that teaser website.

What will pricing be like? The CB1300 Super Four Final Edition will start at ¥ 1,727,000 (about US $11,573 at the time of writing). The CB1300 Super Bol d'Or Final Edition will start at ¥ 1,837,000 (about US $12,310); the CB1300 Super Four SP Final Edition at ¥ 2,101,000 (about US $14,079); and the CB1300 Super Bol d'Or SP Final Edition at ¥ 2,211,000 (about US $14,817).

It's not clear when or if the CB1300 Final Editions will appear in other markets where the CB1300 has previously been sold. As and when we have additional information about other markets, we'll be sure to share it here at RideApart.

If you're in Japan or another market where the CB1300 has been sold, how do you feel about it all coming to an end? If you're in the US or another market where we never got the CB1300, do you wish we did? Have you ridden one while visiting a place that has them, and if so, what did you think?
