'Saved us' - Arsenal star receives 'world class' praise after Liverpool heroics

Arsenal squandered a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Liverpool on Sunday in a thrilling game of Premier League football on Easter Sunday, but it could have been a completely different outcome.

Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus put the Gunners two goals ahead in the first-half. Liverpool grabbed a point late on thanks to Roberto Firmino's header after Mohamed Salah scored and missed a penalty.

The draw ends Arsenal's run of seven straight wins and only extends their lead at the top of the table to six points. However, Mikel Arteta has Aaron Ramsdale to thank for keeping Liverpool out in injury-time.

Ramsdale was on hand to provide two world-class saves to deny Salah and Ibrahima Konate. The England goalkeeper did brilliantly to tip Salah's curling effort around the post before scrambling across his goal line to keep Konate's timid touch out of the net.

The saves kept the score at 2-2 and ensured the Gunners left Anfield with a valuable point. Ramsdale's heroics have been hailed on social media, with some supporters calling the Arsenal shot-stopper the 'G.O.A.T'. Here's what some of them have had to say...
