Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received on Friday a phone call from UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the telephone call, the two sides discussed the developments in Sudan, with an emphasis on the importance of stopping the military escalation, ending the violence, and providing the necessary protection for Sudanese citizens and residents, in a way that guarantees the security and stability of Sudan and its people, SPA said.
The two sides reviewed the deep-rooted relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields.
They also discussed aspects of intensifying joint coordination on many issues of common interest, the news agency added.
