Saudi Red Crescent, SDRPY Support Health Sector in Yemen

The agreement is signed in Riyadh. (SPA)

The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) announced on Tuesday the provision of urgent and immediate support to support the capabilities of Yemeni medical centers and hospitals, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The aim is to allocate and provide 30 ambulances and highly equipped urgent response vehicles.

This announcement was made during the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between SDRPY and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Riyadh.

The MoU seeks to build and raise the quality of health services in Yemen and unify Saudi efforts provided to Yemen's health sector.

The SDRPY was represented during the signing by general supervisor of the program, Ambassador Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, and the SRCA was represented by head of the authority, Dr. Jalal bin Mohammed Al-Owais.
