The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a cable to Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani after lawmakers approved his government.
"On the occasion of your government's winning of the confidence votes by the Iraqi parliament, we are pleased to send to your Excellency our sincere congratulations and best wishes for success and prosperity,” the King said in his cable.
He also wished the Iraqi people further progress and prosperity.
Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a similar cable of congratulations to al-Sudani.
He wished al-Sudani “success and prosperity.”
