Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, approved the launch of the third edition of the national campaign for charitable work during the month of Ramadan.

The campaign, which will kick off on Monday, enables benefactors, donors and the financially privileged to make their donations to the various charitable organizations through a reliable and secure digital platform.

The campaign is carried out via the Ehsan platform. It is launched during Ramadan and includes donations and projects in various fields such as educational, health, social, relief, environmental, and economic charitable works.

It also supports many vulnerable groups and needy families, and provides treatment to patients in need.

Speaking on this occasion, the Chairman of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Ehsan Platform, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, extended appreciation to King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for their outstanding care and support for charitable work in all its aspects.

He also stressed their keenness for the support to reach its beneficiaries with the highest levels of efficiency and reliability, through the Ehsan National Platform for Charitable Work.

Al-Ghamdi noted that the total donations received through the platform, since the approval of its establishment, amounted to more than SAR3.3 billion.

Ehsan platform is monitored by a supervisory committee of 12 government agencies, which operate according to strong and strict control regulations, within the national endeavors aimed at empowering the digital charitable sector in the Kingdom.
