Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a phone call from the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Monday.
During the call, the two officials discussed the strategic relations between the Kingdom and the US and ways to boost them in all fields to serve the interests of the countries.
The two officials also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest.
They further discussed means of intensifying coordination and joint work on many regional and international issues, especially boosting security and stability in the Middle East, and efforts to lay the foundations for peace exerted by both countries in the region and the world.
Separately, Prince Faisal also met with Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs Ann Linde in Riyadh on Monday.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between Sweden and Saudi Arabia, as well as means of boosting cooperation in all fields. They also discussed regional and international developments and issues of common concern.
Director General of the office of the Minister of state for Foreign Affairs Khaled bin Musaed Al-Anqari and Saudi Ambassador to Sweden and Iceland Inas Al-Shahwan attended the meeting.
