Saudi Defenses Shoot Down Ballistic Missile Fired at Jizan

The Saudi-led Arab coalition said on Tuesday the Kingdom's defenses shot down a ballistic missile fired towards its southwestern Jizan region.

The coalition said the escalation by Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen is aimed at scuttling the intra-Yemeni consultations that have been proposed by the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The talks will be hosted by the GCC on March 29 to April 7.
