Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held talks on Monday with a number of top officials on the sidelines of the Sharm el-Sheikh climate summit.

He met with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss cooperation between their countries in various fields, as well as efforts to combat climate change.

He also met with head of Sudan’s transitional sovereign council Abdul Fattah al-Burhan for talks on cooperation between their countries and opportunities to develop them in various fields.

Crown Prince Mohammed met with Tunisian Prime Minister Najla Bouden during a meeting that focused on bilateral relations. They also discussed efforts to preserve the environment and reduce carbon emissions.

Crown Prince Mohammed had arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh earlier on Monday to co-chair, with Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, the Middle East Green Initiative Summit.

At the summit, Crown Prince Mohammed announced that Saudi Arabia was committing 2.5 billion dollars to the Middle East Green Initiative for the next ten years.
