Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez has completed a move from Manchester City to Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli on a contract that will run until 2027, as confirmed by both clubs on Friday.
Although the exact financial details of the transfer were not disclosed, British media outlets reported that the Premier League champions, Manchester City, have agreed to an offer from Al-Ahli worth 35 million euros ($38.53 million), with an additional five million euros in potential add-ons.
Mahrez, who has been an integral part of Manchester City's success in recent years, will now continue his football journey in the Saudi Arabian league with Al-Ahli. The move signals a new chapter in the career of the talented Algerian winger, and fans will be eager to see how he performs in his new club.

However, the 2020-2021 season saw a slight reduction in his playing time under Pep Guardiola, as he scored 15 goals in 47 games. Unfortunately, he missed out on playing in the FA Cup and Champions League finals, even though City managed to secure a historic treble during that period.
