Saudi Arabia and Chad signed on Monday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in defense cooperation.
The agreement was signed by Saudi Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khaled bin Hussein Al-Bayari and Chad’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad Mahamat Saleh Annadif during a ceremony in Riyadh.
The MoU was signed as part of the Saudi and Chadian governments’ drive to develop bilateral relations to promote international stability and peace.
It covers several defense fields, such as developing cooperation in military trainings and exercises, providing military medical services and raising awareness in combating terrorism.
