Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Finland Nisreen Al-Shibel presented her credentials to Finland's President Sauli Niinist on Monday.
During their meeting, the ambassador conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman to the president.
Al-Shibel is one of five Saudi women who are in the diplomatic corps, along Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud ambassador to the United States, Amal Al-Mouallimi ambassador to Norway, Enas Al-Shahwan ambassador to Sweden, and Haifa bint Abdurrahman Al-Jedea ambassador to the European Union.
Their appointment as ambassadors comes within the framework of the Kingdom's directives to enhance women's participation in public life, empower them in the labor market, and assume leadership positions.
