Even though I had a 3.5 cumulative GPA after my 3rd year in college, I never got to get my degree because I wanted to leave early & purse my dream of playing in the NFL…… With that being said, I’m back enrolled in classes and on course to graduate in the summer🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

The first rookie cornerback to be named a first-team All-Pro in 41 years, New York Jets star cover man Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner is heading back to the classroom.
Gardner left the University of Cincinnati early to make the jump to the pros, and the Jets made him the No. 4 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft. He immediately rewarded them with one of the most dominant seasons from a rookie cornerback in NFL history.
Now, Gardner is heading back to the classroom, announcing on social media Saturday that he’s re-enrolled at UC, and on track to finish his degree this summer.
Kudos to Sauce for making sure he finishes his commitment on the academic level, while also delivering the goods on the field.
