The two biggest stories in sports over the last few months have been arguably Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift in the NFL and Deion Sanders in college football.
So, it’s no surprise Saturday Night Live leaned into both this weekend, with Kelce and Swift making a surprise appearance on the show and Sanders getting the spoof treatment on a “Weekend Update” sketch.
Colorado gave SNL perfect fodder for their segment too, blowing a 29-0 lead in a loss to Stanford Friday. And you better believe that meltdown made its way into the sketch between Colin Jost and Kenan Thompson, who was clad in Colorado gear and shades with a gold chain around his neck in imitation of Sanders.
