A man has left his partner and the mum of his two children for a Ukrainian refugee who moved into their home just ten days before the split.

Tony Ganett, 29, left Lorona, 28, after falling for Sofiia Karkadym who had fled the horrors of her home town Lviv at the start of the conflict with Russia.

Tony, a security guard, had initially signed up for the Government’s rehoming scheme last month but became inpatient so reached out on social media to help.

A Scots dad has shared how proud he is of his young Rangers mad son who congratulated Frankfurt fans on their Seville win.

Cooper Millar, aged 10, of West Lothian, had taken off for the Europa League Final via London with his dad, Dale Millar, aged 33.

They stayed in Villamartin for four days before embarking on the seven-hour bus journey to Seville at 6am on the day of the game.

Despite ultimately losing out to the German team after a penalties, Cooper, a season ticket holder, managed to remain positive.

Mum regrets son's name after realising 'unintentional' meaning nine months later

A mum has been left regretting the name she chose for her son after realising its 'unintentional' second meaning - nine months after his birth.

Sharing her story online, the anonymous woman explained that she has a nine-year-old son called Leo and then along came her second baby - Griffin.

However, she later realised that some people may think his name is a reference to the mythical animal, and when said along with her older child's name think she was going for a theme.

Rebekah Vardy's anguish as 'Coleen Rooney cost her career with lost deals'

Rebekah Vardy voiced her distress as she says her career tumbled because of her dispute with Coleen Rooney that reportedly lost her a book deal and an unusual medical partnership.

Rebekah's libel case against Coleen stems from a viral social media post in October 2019.

Coleen was dubbed 'Wagatha Christie' after carrying out a 'sting operation' that resulted in her accusing Rebekah of leaking personal information to the media.

People on PIP may be due up to £5,000 in back payments as part of DWP review

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is currently conducting a review of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claims made by deaf or hearing impaired people who may be affected by an Upper Tribunal decision relating to washing or bathing safely.

Following the tribunal ruling, from August 21, 2020, there has been a change in how the DWP considers whether someone can wash or bathe safely, as part of the PIP assessment.
