An SAS 'Blue Thunder' helicopter was recorded on manoeuvres above Jaguar Land Rover yesterday.
Footage shared with the ECHO shows two choppers circling the site in the early hours of Thursday, March 18 from 12.30am. On the video, people can also be seen getting lowered down from the helicopter onto the roof from a rope.
A spokesperson for Jaguar Land Rover Halewood told the ECHO that a Ministry of Defence training exercise was taking place. The exercise was used to train pilots flying at low altitudes in and around urban environments.

As well as the pilot training, figures could also be seen practising abseiling from the helicopter. The training exercise is known as 'fast-roping' and allows troops to land where a helicopter cannot.
Residents in the Halewood area said they heard and seen the helicopters above the area for a number of hours on Thursday morning. Some witnesses described them as flying 'low' and 'erratic' with one person telling the ECHO it looked like the aircraft were 'chasing' each other.
The ECHO contacted the Ministry of Defence for a comment about the training exercise. The MEN also reported a training exercise taking place in Manchester.
More video shows helicopters training above Bury under the cover of darkness. According to witnesses, the helicopters were in operation for several hours on Tuesday evening, March 15.
