Sarah Jayne Dunn raises temperatures as she celebrates National Lingerie Day

Sarah Jayne Dunn has floored fans as she celebrated National Lingerie Day by sharing some of her favourite pieces. Sarah, 41, from Leigh, showed off her pole dancing-honed figure as she told how a matching lingerie set gives her a boost.

The former Hollyoaks turned OnlyFans star posted a selection of snaps on her Instagram. She struck a sultry pose in a black set with stockings, smiled for the camera in matching purple pieces and looked pretty in pink in a bubblegum bra and knickers with coordinating knee-high boots.

The flame emojis came pouring in on along with the praise. She wrote: "Happy #nationallingerieday Wearing a matching lingerie set actually makes me feel like I’ve got my life together."

Sarah regularly shares 'get ready with me' videos with her followers as she showcases her wardrobe choices for occasions and how she puts them together. Earlier this month Sarah looked gorgeous in a pink layered dress by The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Seema Malhotra's fashion brand Forever Unique as she dressed up for Aintree Ladies' Day.

"I’m in my pink tuelle era," she wrote. And Sarah, 41, used in the hashtags "#barbie" and "#barbiegirl." But she was moved to clap back after a troll brought down the mood by making an 'unkind' remark about her outfit. Trinalou24 told her: "Oh good god no…" Sarah wasn't going to let them get away with making the comment and replied: "Unnecessary and unkind."

She previously shared a defiant gesture to a man who told her to 'stop parading in her pants' as a mum in her forties. The star is known for her body positive Instagram posts.

Sarah, who has a six-year-old son Stanley, posted a picture of herself on her Instagram Stories giving the middle figure as she said she'd blocked the troll who was following her in the first place. She wrote: "To the guy (that was following me on here) that just put a c****y comment on about me being a mother in my 40s and how because of that I shouldn't be parading around in my pants" and she added a stream of middle finger emojis.

She added: "Don't come at me today. I am not in the mood. I will parade in my pants for as long as I like regardless of my age or parental status and you can kindly f*****k off blocked and (bye emoji)."

At the start of this month Sarah provided the message: ''Never apologise for being a powerful woman’, when you step into your power and your true authentic self, you shine so bright that the world tries to keep up, be a beacon for others."

In November 2021 Sarah left Channel Four soap Hollyoaks to continue posting pictures on the subscription site OnlyFans and said it was the 'best decision I ever made.' Last year, in an interview with Naked Beach star and body confidence advocate Jsky on his BBC Radio Manchester show, Sarah said she felt 'more confident than I've ever felt' after 'taking back control.'

She told broadcaster and reality TV star Jsky: "Now what I've found with what I've done in the past few months and taking back control, I feel more confident than I've ever felt. I think that's from going 'actually I'm going to own this and I'm going to do this my way.'"

Sarah, who played Mandy Richardson in the show, said: "I'm 40, I look great and I'm more confident than I've ever been. I think I look better than I did in my twenties."

Sarah, who was one of the long-running soap's biggest stars, was unable to 'reach a resolution' with bosses. A Hollyoaks spokeswoman said that as a 'youth-facing drama with many young viewers' the soap does not allow any Hollyoaks cast members 'to be active on certain 18+ websites.' They said the show had hoped she could remain in the role as mum Mandy but they 'respected' her choice to stay on OnlyFans.

Explaining why she was signing up to OnlyFans she admitted at the time that 'some might find it shocking' but told her Instagram followers: 'I'm simply moving my sexier, racier images to another platform." And she penned on her Instagram: "I’ve done men’s mag upon men’s mag and calendar upon calendar, I’ve enjoyed every shoot but never felt like I had much say in them."

A spokeswoman for the soap said: “Hollyoaks is a youth-facing drama with many young viewers, who follow our cast very closely, both in the soap and outside of it. We take our responsibility to our young audience very seriously and therefore the show does not allow any Hollyoaks cast members to be active on certain 18+ websites.

“We had hoped we could reach a resolution with Sarah that would allow her to remain in her role as Mandy, but we respect her choice to continue to produce content on OnlyFans. In the past four years since her return to the show her legacy character has been an integral part of some our most important storylines and we will be very sad to see her go.”

Sarah, who played Mandy on and off since 1996, told Jsky: "It wasn't my choice," she said. "The best thing that ever happened but it wasn't my choice."

Explaining her departure she said: "I knew what I was doing was right and it felt right and I wasn't happy in the situation I was in. People go 'but you're on TV, it's so glamorous. You must be making so much money.' It's not like that at all and I wasn't happy and so I made the decision to take back control."

She added: "I didn't intend on leaving the show, that wasn't my choice but that's what happened and I stood my ground with what I was doing. I was sort of condemned for doing something that I've been contractually bound to do for my entire career there."
