Sarah Hyland has announced that she will not be returning to host season six of Love Island USA on Peacock. The actress, who hosted the dating competition series for two seasons, shared the news on her Instagram Story. She expressed her disappointment at not being able to return to the show this summer due to a conflicting commitment to an upcoming project.
Hyland first joined Love Island USA as the host for season four in 2022 when the series transitioned from CBS to Peacock. Prior to her, Arielle Vandenberg hosted the dating reality show for three seasons since its U.S. debut in 2019. The show's executive producer, Simon Thomas, praised Hyland, describing her as a natural and likable host whom the Islanders admired.
Last year, Peacock renewed Love Island USA for two more seasons, citing it as their top original reality series. With Hyland's departure, the streaming platform is yet to announce her replacement for the upcoming season. Fans can expect to see a new face at the helm as the show continues to bring romance and drama to viewers.
