Sarah Ferguson speaks about Coronation snub and 'can't have it both ways' with ex Prince Andrew

Sarah Ferguson has opened up on being snubbed from King Charles' Coronation, admitting that she 'can't have it both ways'.

Fergie joined Kate Garraway and Adil Ray on today's Good Morning Britain to talk all things Coronation, Royal Family and her brand new saucy book.

Kate asked if she would be attending the event and she replied: "No I'm not because it's a state occasion and being divorced, I don't think you can have it both ways."

She added: "I am divorced and I really am loving being divorced to my ex-husband not from my husband."

Kate then asked: "You don't mind, you don't feel sorry? Because you've known them all so long and have grown up with them and you're very close to Charles as well?"

Fergie replied she is still very much close to the family, adding: "Yes, Queen Camilla as well. I think Charles and Camilla are doing an exceptional job at unifying the family and just because I am not there on the state occasion, doesn't mean I can't be there in private.

"You can't sit on the fence, you're either in or out. Don't muck around"

At the start of the interview, Fergie was referred to as the 'royal rebel' and show host Adil went on to ask how she felt about that.

"I think thatI've now at 62 years old I've suddenly owned that, it's not a bad thing to speak your mind and be who you want to be, it took a long time. In the old days I would have said 'oh shh, I am not a rebel and everything is fine and now I am loving it!"

Kate added: "You're loving being naughty?!"

Fergie laughed: "Mischievous, cheeky!"
