Saquon Barkley led the league with a franchise-record 2,005 rushing yards, making him just the ninth player in NFL history to post 2,000+ rushing yards in a season.
Barkley had two monster performances against Washington in the regular season, and his early first-half explosion made NFL history.
On Sunday in the NFC Championship game, the All-Pro running back became the first player in NFL history to score multiple touchdowns (of any kind) in 3+ games against a single opponent in a season.

In the first matchup, a 26-18 Eagles win, Barkley rushed for 146 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns. In a 36-33 Commanders win in Week 16, Barkley rushed for 150 yards on 29 carries, and two rushing touchdowns.
Including playoffs, Barkley’s 2,329 rushing yards entering this game (119 in the NFC Wild Card Playoff vs. Green Bay) are the 3rd-most in NFL single-season history, behind Terrell Davis in 1998 (2,476) and 1997 (2,331). He is just 148 rushing yards shy of breaking Davis’ all-time record.
With today’s scores, Barkley has posted seven rushing touchdowns of 60+ yards this season (including playoffs), the most in league history. He was previously tied with Adrian Peterson (four in 2012) and Jim Brown (four in 1963) for the most.
