Santander to close 95 branches across the UK

  • Santander is closing 95 branches across the UK, putting 750 jobs at risk.
  • The bank cites a significant increase in online banking and a corresponding drop in branch transactions as the reason.
  • Most of the closures will occur over the summer, with dates yet to be announced.
