The City of Santa Monica has issued a new evacuation order for the most northern portion of the city, specifically the area bordering the Pacific Palisades neighborhood. Officials are urging residents in this area to evacuate immediately.
The evacuation order encompasses all areas north of Montana Avenue from the beach to 11th Street. The city has emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating that residents must leave immediately and that the area is closed to public access.
In addition to the expanded evacuation order, Santa Monica has also issued evacuation warnings for two other areas. The first warning pertains to areas north of Montana Avenue, while the second warning includes all areas north of Wilshire Boulevard and west of 10th Street.
