Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco 49ers
NFL NFC Championship game
Venue: Levi's Stadium
Date: Sunday, 19 January, 2020
Kick-off: 11:40pm GMT
Two of the most successful teams in NFL history go head-to-head for a place in this year's Super Bowl when the Green Bay Packers travel to the San Francisco 49ers today.
With nine Super Bowl wins between them, the two franchises are no strangers to glory, though the 49ers in particular have had too wait too long to taste it, last winning the NFL's biggest prize in 1994.
The Packers, meanwhile, were champions as recently as the 2010 season, but it seemed unlikely then that quarterback Aaron Rodgers would still be waiting for his second Super Bowl ring almost a decade later.
The two teams finished the regular season with identical 13-3 records to take the top two seeds in the NFC, meaning they have only had to play one playoff game to reach this stage, but the 49ers have the psychological advantage of having beaten the Packers 37-8 in week 12.

Prediction: Packers win
Unlike last year, it has already been a postseason full of shocks and surprises, and we may be in for one last one here. The 49ers have been impressive all year, though they actually had a marginally better record on the road than at Sunday night's venue, and if Rodgers is on song then he may just be able to deliver the Packers a long overdue Super Bowl appearance.
