Those who were looking to upgrade to a Samsung smartphone are in luck as one retailer is giving customers a free Galaxy Chromebook Go when they buy the latest S23 Ultra, and there's no hidden cost. It's all thanks to Amazon as it drops the deal on the last day of its major Prime event.
The two devices are usually sold in a bundle for £1,698 but the retailer's ongoing discounts mean shoppers will pay £1,199 for the two. It's still a huge sum of money but means anyone who had their eye on the swanky new S23 Ultra model will walk away with a laptop without paying an extra penny.
The deal doesn't stop there as Amazon's new duo deal beats Samsung at it's own game, selling both devices for £200 less than the price of the phone (on its own). So regardless of whether you want a laptop or not going with Amazon will save you hundreds on the newest handset.
The S23 Ultra sits at the top of Samsung's S23 range, and as the title suggests it was only launched this year. Just five months after the release Amazon's deal is one of the cheapest prices customers will pay on the handset, not mentioning the fact that a whole other device is thrown in for free.
After reviewing the handset our own tech writer James Ide said the S23 Ultra had 'incredible performance and exceptional camera's', making it a gamechanging upgrade.
He said: "Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is one of the most impressive smartphones available to date, with a sleek and modern design, a powerful processor, and impressive camera capabilities.
"The Samsung S23 Ultra has the same 5000mAh battery as its predecessor but with the more advanced hardware it manages to squeeze more out of that cell.
"The battery is able to easily provide all-day battery life on a single charge and also supports 45W fast charging and wireless charging but annoyingly doesn’t come with the fast charging brick supplied."
The laptop in Amazon's bundle deal also happens to be the newest version of the Chromebook Go models, fitted with an 11.6-inch screen, 64GB of storage and compatible with the newest Chrome OS software.
Amazon's current Prime Day sale ends today (Wednesday July 12) at 23:59 and all shoppers have to be a Prime member to find the deals, including the Samsung duo above.
