Sammy Silvera to Hearts teetering on the brink as FOUR English teams have transfer bids accepted

Hearts will need to make a late move if they want to land long-term Sammy Silvera.

Central Coast Mariners have now accepted four six figure bids from English Championship clubs for their prize winger. The 22-year-old has now been given permission to open talks with the likes of Middlesbrough, Stoke City and Plymouth. The A-League champions expect Silvera to make a decision on his next move over the next 24 to 48 hours. Hearts had made several offers for the Australian under-23 cap but they were rejected.

It is understood that the Jambos weren’t too far away from those offers that have now been accepted for Silvera. It remains to be seen if the Tynecastle side go back in or Stevie Naismith will now turn his attention elsewhere.

Hearts also asked the question about Japanese defender Ruku Handa from Gamba Osaka on-loan. That was more than two week ago and Hearts have not gone back in.
