Chad Bowes
The record for the fastest double hundred in List A cricket is currently held by New Zealand’s Chad Bowes, who broke the joint record of India’s Narayan Jagadeesan and Australia’s Travis Head.

Delhi Capitals bought him for 95 lakhs
In the IPL 2025 mega auction, Sameer Rizvi was bought by IPL franchise Delhi Capitals for Rs 95 lakh. Earlier, Chennai Super Kings signed him for Rs 8.4 crore in 2024. However, his performance in IPL 2024 was disappointing, where he scored just 51 runs in five innings at a strike rate of 118.60. Due to this, CSK released him before the auction.
