The family of Sam Rimmer have released the details of his funeral.
Sam, 22, was shot in the chest in Lavrock Bank, Dingle, on the evening of Tuesday, August 16. Four men have been arrested on suspicion of his murder, with three later released on bail pending further enquiries.
An inquest into Sam's death was held at Gerard Majella Courthouse in Kirkdale on August 30. The inquest heard Sam's medical cause of death was recorded as a gunshot wound to the chest.

Sam's family have now released the details of his funeral through Debbie Bennett's Independent Funeral Directors. The service will be held on Wednesday, September 14 at St Anthony’s Church on Scotland Road.
In a notice, the funeral directors said: "It is with great sadness that the family of Sam Rimmer have asked us to announce his passing and funeral arrangements. Service to be held on Wednesday 14th September 2022 at St Anthony’s Church, Scotland Road, at 11.00am followed by cremation at Anfield Crematorium at 12.00 Noon.
"Family flowers only please. All Enquiries to Debbie Bennett Funeral Directors, 10 The Crescent, Bootle, L20 0DX Tel 0151 426 3131 Op3."
Since Mr Rimmer was identified, the public have paid tribute to him and shared their condolences with his family.
Posting on the ECHO's Facebook page, Jade Theresa wrote: "R.I.P Sam!! you was such an amazing lad and such a character, thinking of your family at this horrible time."
Angela Findlay-Pollard posted: "R.I P. SAM. My heart goes out to all the Rimmer/Carroll family, such a dreadful crime that took the life of a wonderful young man. So heart breaking."
Danny James Starr wrote: "Your life has been cut way too short bro I'll never forget you mate and how much of a good kid you was."
