Patrick Schwarzenegger may have stolen the nepo baby limelight with his role as Saxon Ratliff in The White Lotus season three, but people are starting to learn that he isn’t the only nepo baby in his fictional on-screen family.
Sam Nivola, who plays younger brother Lochlan Ratliff, is a nepo baby in his own right. The 21-year-old British-American actor is the son of actress Emily Mortimer, best known for her roles in Paddington in Peru, The Newsroom and Notting Hill. His father Alessandro Nivola is also an actor, having appeared in The Brutalist, Disobedience and Jurassic Park III.
And to make things even cuter, he’s dating fellow nepo baby Iris Apatow, who is the daughter of legendary American comedy writer and director, Judd Apatow, the man responsible for the likes of Knocked Up, Freaks and Geeks, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and This Is 40.

But rather than looking like Apatow, Iris is the spit of her mother, Leslie Mann, who is well known for appearing in Apatow’s movies. She has also had roles in George of the Jungle, 17 Again and The Other Woman.
Oh, and if their circle didn’t already seem starry enough, Iris Apatow’s childhood best friend is Olivia Rodrigo, and her sister Maude is one of the stars of HBO teen drama juggernaut Euphoria.
Sam Nivola and Iris Apatow have been publicly dating since 2024, when Nivola shared pictures of Apatow visiting him while filming The White Lotus in Thailand, though it’s unknown how long they may have been seeing each other before this.

Despite being just 21 and 22 years old, the couple already live together in a flat in New York, and they have a cat named Kumo.
Speaking to Teen Vogue, Nivola said: “I'm so in love, and she's so amazing. I think the thing about moving in with someone is that when you're this young, it's always like, ‘Oh my God, you're going to get sick of them.’ You're going to spend all day, every day together, and then it's going to be routine, and you're going to feel like you've been in a marriage for 30 years. I don't think that would happen with her anyway, just because we're so in love.”

The pair have now made numerous public appearances together and they are rarely seen without the other by their side. Nivola has called her a “lifesaver” during The White Lotus filming period and told People: “I brought my girlfriend for a few months, which was amazing.
“It was so great to have a taste of home because it was 10,000 miles away from home, and it was so nice of her to sacrifice that time to come be with me, and I’m incredibly grateful to her.” Cute!
