Sam Kerr will lead the Matildas into action against European champions England, ending worries over her fitness to spearhead their challenge in their final overseas international before the World Cup.

The Chelsea ace was pronounced fit to lead the line at Brentford's Gtech Community Stadium on Tuesday in a starting line-up that shows two changes from the team beaten 1-0 by Scotland on Friday.

Kerr, rested for the Scotland game with coach Tony Gustavsson afterwards refusing to say whether she was carrying an injury, replaces Larissa Crummer up front, while cap centurion Tameka Yallop's experience is preferred to Cortnee Vine.

Matildas team:

Mackenzie Arnold, Ellie Carpenter, Clare Hunt, Clare Polkinghorne, Charlotte Grant, Katrina Gorry, Kyra Cooney-Cross, Tameka Yallop, Mary Fowler, Hayley Raso, Sam Kerr (capt).
