Sam Hubbard, Bengals stagger Ravens with 98-yard fumble return for TD

Quarterbacks continue to reach the ball over the goal to break the plane for a score.

Good things happen when it works. However, the football is in play and can be knocked out of the quarterback’s hands. That can turn a touchdown into a disaster.

The Ravens looked like they were heading for a lead against the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth quarter on Sunday night.

Tyler Huntley tried to reach the ball over the goal line. He was stopped short and Logan Wilson knocked the ball from the Raven quarterback’s grasp.

The football wound up in the hands of Cincinnati defensive end Sam Hubbard, who returned it 98 yards for a touchdown.

The longest fumble return for a touchdown in NFL postseason history gave the Bengals a 24-17 lead.
