Sam Hartman will not have any fond memories of playing Clemson during his college football career.
The Notre Dame quarterback, who transferred from Wake Forest before this season, dropped to 0-6 against the Tigers, who downed the Fighting Irish, 31-23, on Saturday.
The damage:
- In 2018, Hartman was 7-of-20 for Wake Forest in a 63-3 loss.
- In 2019, Hartman looked on as Jamie Newman was the Demon Deacons’ QB in a 52-3 thrashing.
- In 2020, a 37-13 defeat saw Hartman complete 11-of-21 passes for 182 yards.
- In 2021, Hartman was 27-of-43 for 312 yards in a 48-27 defeat.
- In 2022, Hartman was 20-of-29 yards for 337 yards and 6 TDs in a 51-45 slobberknocker.
- In 2023 with Notre Dame, Hartman was 13-of-30 for 146 yards and 2 picks.
