Sam Greenwood details how 'electric' Elland Road energised Leeds United comeback

Leeds United forward Sam Greenwood has called his side's comeback 'unbelievable' as the Whites came from 3-1 down to win 4-3 over Bournemouth at Elland Road.

An opening goal from Rodrigo saw Leeds take the lead after just three minutes but goals from Marcus Tavernier, Philip Billing and Dominic Solanke saw the Cherries stretch out to a 3-1 lead after 48 minutes.

But an absolute peach of an effort from Greenwood curled past Mark Travers for Leeds' second before captain Liam Cooper headed home the equaliser.

An immense run from Wilfried Gnonto saw him slot a pass into the path of Crysencio Summerville who slotted home the winner just seven minutes out of full-time.

Speaking to LUTV after the match, Greenwood was delighted with his teammates' performances and highlighted the belief that they have in each other as a primary factor of their win.

"Yeah it was unbelievable to be honest, the lads showed unbelievable desire and passion to get back into the game and to get the win is great.

"I didn't really think it, just saw it roll back slowly and hit it first time. Yeah, just to get going again [picking the ball up straight away to run back to the halfway line], obviously the belief in the team is to win every time and we have that.

"Elland Road is electric, and when they're like that, it gives us more energy to go out and do it again. It's been a tough few weeks but we're starting to get more and more momentum now so we just need to carry that on."
