The excitement levels of Sam Fender fans are now at fever pitch, with just a few days to go now until the Seventeen Going Under star's massive gigs at St James' Park.
Tickets for both Friday and Saturday night were snapped up straight away, when they went on sale last September, with Ticketmaster being sent into meltdown by the huge demand. And now, months after the lucky ones got their hands on tickets, the huge Newcastle shows are very much on the horizon.
North Shields icon Sam and his band will take the stage at St James' on Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10, with the gigs set to be the biggest events the city will see this year. Sam's support acts have now all been confirmed, with Brit stars sharing the stage with local acts and stage times for the gigs have also been released.
Fans heading to St James' Park at the weekend will also need to be aware of Sam Fender entry and security rules and the Metro closures in place for both concerts. With that in mind, Nexus have now confirmed that there will be shuttle buses to help fans get home after Saturday's show, which will be affected most by the station closures.

All valid Metro tickets will be accepted for travel on the concert shuttle bus services, which will operate up to every 10 minutes from 10.00pm until late.
