Sam Fender fever has officially hit Newcastle and the whole city is ready for one massive party to mark the occasion of his massive shows at St James' Park.
Months after all tickets for the gigs on Friday and Saturday night were snapped up, with fans nearly sending Ticketmaster into meltdown with all the demand, the time has come for Sam and his band to hit the stage on the pitch at NUFC's famous ground.
Sam's support acts have been confirmed for a while, as have the St James' Park stage times and on Friday morning, there was a real treat for fans when Sam launched a special Newcastle editions of his upcoming album, with commemorative picture discs featuring photos from both of the St James' gigs.
Sam's St James' Park gigs will be the biggest on Tyneside in 2023, with well over 100,000 expected at SJP over the weekend and, it's not just at the stadium where the atmosphere will be buzzing. Pubs and bars across the city are getting in on the action with parties before and after Friday and Saturday's concerts.

The Three Bulls Heads
Not far from the ground at all, the Percy Street pub is promising the 'ultimate' Sam Fender party, with a live DJ from 5pm on both nights.

The Gate's Newcastle cocktail haunt will be honouring Sam before and after with tunes and thirst quenching drinks.
The Mayfair
The Newgate Street bar, famous for its atmosphere for the World Cup and Newcastle match days. There will be 20% off all food with a gig ticket, pre gig food and drinks, post gig live DJ & entertainment, frozen cocktails and2 for £12 on all regular cocktails

The Cloth Market favourite opened its doors at 12 noon for one hell of a party for Sam. Open Friday and Saturday until 2am.

After party on Friday night at Grey's and NX on Saturday, with Rebel Residents keeping the indie/rock'n'roll anthems flowing and your feet moving right through until 3am!.
