Sam Fender has apologised to his pal Lewis Capaldi after he managed to set a new record for playing Scotland's biggest ever indoor show.
Play God singer Sam and Someone You Loved hitmaker Lewis are good buddies, with Sam inviting Lewis backstage for some wine and banter at his Barrowland Ballroom show last year.
Despite being close drinking buddies and Lewis even joining Sam at the Brits after parties earlier this year, the two lads seem to have a friendly rivalry.
The pair even released their first singles at the same time in 2017.
The Geordie singer-songwriter gigged to a sell-out crowd of thousands at the OVO Hydro for his UK spring arena tour.
Before his Saturday night performance bosses there confirmed the 27-year-old is now officially the "biggest-selling artist" for a single show at the venue.
OVO Hydro's posted online: "We've counted all tickets and we have some fantastic news ahead of tonight's gig. Based on number of tickets sold, Sam Fender is now the biggest selling artist for a single show at the OVO Hydro!
"No one has sold more tickets for an individual show than Sam! Huge congratulations and thanks from everyone at OVO Hydro Sam!
Sam has now taken to Twitter to write: "WOW!!! Biggest indoor show in Glasgow ever, sorry @LewisCapaldi."
The lads mutual friend Niall Horan replied with laughing emojis and Loose women's Denise Welch said 'Proud of you."
It's over to you Lewis...
