Sam Dalby to remain on loan at Dundee United, Wrexham confirm

Sam Dalby will remain a Dundee United player until the end of the season.

Both United and parent club Wrexham AFC - co-owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney -  have confirmed the decision tonight.

The striker, 25, has scored 10 goals in 24 appearances for the Scottish Premiership side.

A statement posted on United's official X account reads: "The best in Scotland is sticking around for the fight.

"We can confirm Sam Dalby will remain a #DUFC player for the rest of the 2024/25 campaign."

A statement on Wrexham AFC's website says: "Sam Dalby will remain at Dundee United on loan until the end of the season.

"Wrexham AFC offered the player a new contract before the Winter Transfer Window opened and that contract remains on the table for the player.

"We wish Sam and Dundee United well for the remainder of the season."
