Sam Asghari has admitted he can't wait to become a dad after fiancee Britney Spears announced she was pregnant on Monday night.
The songstress, 40, shared the brilliant news on Instagram after saying actor Sam, 28, suggested she take a pregnancy test following their trip to Maui.
And Sam took to his own social media page to express his delight at the news.
The Iranian-born hunk shared a painting of a lion with his lioness and a cub and wrote: "Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect.
"Fatherhood is something i have always looked forward to and i don’t take lightly. It is the most important job i will ever do."
His comments were well met by many of his 2.4 million followers, including actor Hany Rambod who wrote: "Congratulations To you both Dadash."
Jersey Shore's Jenni Farley also commented with a string of emojis, including love hearts and praising hands.
The news follows rumours Britney and Sam have secretly married.
Sam originally popped the question in September 2021 with the happy couple going on to share their engagement news on social media.
And fans continue to question whether the pair have already tied the knot as the pop singer once again referred to her beau as her husband in her pregnancy announcement.
She wrote how she thought: "Geez … what happened to my stomach ???” before continued to write: "My husband said “No you’re food pregnant silly !!!” So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby."
It followed her post last month which saw her gush over he man on his 28th birthday. She wrote: "Such an amazing pic of my husband @samasghari !!!!
"He's such a hard worker and he amazes me each day with his passion for life !!!! I’m so lucky to be able to share my life with him …. HAPPY BIRTHDAY."
Parents-to-be Sam and Britney have been together since 2016 and were originally linked romantically after meeting on the set of the singer's Slumber Party music video.
Ever since Britney's conservatorship ended, the singer and Sam have regularly shared snaps on social media of their luxury holidays.
In her conservatorship court case, Brit claimed she was forbidden from marrying anyone and was also forced onto contraception to stop her having any more children.
