Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan has reacted first time to the death threats he has been receiving, saying that his life is in the hands of God.

Responding to a question during a promotional event, the 59-year-old actor said: "Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai. His statement roughly translates to "It's all up to God, Allah. What is written is written. That's all."

According to Dynamite News correspondent, he answered the question in Mumbai during the promotional event for his upcoming movie Sikandar.

It is pertinent to mention that he has been receiving death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and the Bishnoi gang since he was accused of killing a Blackbuck in the forests near Jodhpur in 1998.

Two motorcycle-borne men in April last year opened fire at the actor's Bandra apartment. They were later arrested. The attack was planned by Lawrence’s younger brother Amnol Bishnoi.

For Bishnoi community, blackbucks is very sacred.
