Salma Hayek denies having boob job and says 'they've just kept growing'

Salma Hayek has denied rumours that she has had a boob job - but insists she can see why people could think that.

The actress, 54, admitted that her breasts used to be smaller but shot down rumours that she had cosmetically enhanced them.

The Hitman's Wife’s Bodyguard star revealed that the real reason behind their different look is that they just "keep growing".

Speaking on the latest episode of Red Table Talk, the actress said: "A lot of people said that I had breast augmentation; I don't blame them! My boobs were smaller! So was the rest of my body."

"But they have just kept growing. Many, many sizes. And my back has been really suffering from it. And not a lot of people talk about this."

And she put their growth down to going through menopause, insisting "The boobs grow a lot," as the female body changes.

She continued: "For some women, they get smaller. But there are some women that when you gain weight, your boobs grow, and other women that when you have children and you breastfeed your boobs grow and they don't go back down.

"Then in some of the cases when you are in menopause they grow again. And I just happen to be one of those women where it happened in every, single step!"

Salma was quick to shoot down any issues with ageing and said the "expiration date" theory on women going through menopause "has to go".

She insisted: "You can hold your own at any age, you can dream at any age, you can be romantic at any age," and she said women should have the right to be loved no matter where they are in their life.

She proudly said that women were not just put on the planet to make babies or to "baby the man".

And she described how that thought was a "misunderstanding that has been going around for centuries".

The Grown Ups star is often praised for her incredible physique and described earlier in the month how the secret is doing only five minutes worth of exercise a day.

The star wowed fans with her holiday snaps late last year and revealed that she has come up with an intense full-body workout to keep in shape.

However, she says she "pigs out" so doesn't always look in peak condition.

"It's a short window of consistency," she confessed.
