Sally Dexter on what she misses most after emotional Emmerdale exit

Emmerdale fave Sally Dexter has told fans what she’s missing about the soap since the death of her character Faith Dingle.

Last month, as part of Emmerdale’s major 50th anniversary storylines viewers saw the death of Faith Dingle in moving scenes following the character's cancer battle. Discussing her recent exit, speaking to Inside Soap, Sally said: “I get emotional talking about it.”

The acting star has spoken of how she’ll miss the programme. In particular, Sally is sad to have said goodbye to some of her co-stars.”

“They are like the holy trinity - Lucy (Pargeter), Jeff (Hordley) and Natalie (J Robb),” Sally explained. “I miss them so much. They are family.”

Understandably, one scene, shared with Cain Dingle star Jeff, sticks strongly in Sally’s memory as viewers and castmates were hit with strong emotion. Sally said: “Jeff is an extraordinary actor, so that last scene where Faith is dead was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.”
