Kellen Moore missed out on landing the Cowboys job but could be the front-runner for the New Orleans Saints after Mike McCarthy decided to focus on 2026.
Saints brass interviewed the Eagles offensive coordinator Monday night and into early Tuesday morning. Tom Pelissero reports that the two sides will meet again after Super Bowl LIX, at the earliest possible time, or another interview.
The #Saints plan to meet again with #Eagles OC Kellen Moore after the Super Bowl — a strong sign he’s the top candidate for the team’s head coaching job, sources tell The Insiders.

Like Jonathan Gannon after Super Bowl 57, Saints brass could ensure that Moore doesn’t leave New Orleans after the Eagles face the Chiefs.
Philadelphia racked up 459 yards of total offense and scored 55 points in a blowout win over Washington in the NFC Championship game. Following that performance, the Saints quickly secured a second interview with Moore before Super Bowl 59 in their host city.
After a historic career at Boise State, Moore served as the Cowboys’ backup quarterback from 2015 to 2017 before taking over as quarterbacks coach in 2018. Dallas promoted him to offensive coordinator the following season, and he held that job through 2022.
This season, Philadelphia finished eighth in total yards, seventh in points, and second in rushing yards, but it had a league-low in passing attempts.
