Saints shift from underdogs to favorites against Packers as inactives get announced

The New Orleans Saints entered the week of their game against the Green Bay Packers as underdogs, but as the inactive lists were announced the line shifted in their favor. After opening as 2-point underdogs to the Packers, the Saints are now 1-point road favorites on BetMGM.

The Packer are without a number of key players as starters David Bakhiari, Jaire Alexander, Elgton Jenkins, Christian Watson and Aaron Jones are all out. It’s clear why the line would shift as that is a lot of star power to miss, especially coming off of a loss.

The Saints aren’t a picture of health either, as they are missing some players as well. Jamaal Williams was placed on injured reserve while Foster Moreau and Paulson Adebo are out with injuries. The Saints do get a big boost with rookie running back Kendre Miller getting his first game action of the regular season.
