The New Orleans Saints shared a long list of players on their initial Week 6 injury report, as did the Houston Texans. A combined 10 players between the two teams didn’t practice on Wednesday due to various injuries — for the Saints, that meant tight end Juwan Johnson (calf), safeties Lonnie Johnson and J.T. Gray (both hamstring injuries), fullback Adam Prentice (knee), and offensive tackle Landon Young (hip) were sidelined.
But three Saints players were able to participate fully on Wednesday while receiving treatment, including quarterback Derek Carr (right shoulder) and left guard Andrus Peat (concussion), as well as free safety Marcus Maye, who wasn’t hurt but was returning from a suspension.
Five of their teammates were limited: right tackle Ryan Ramczyk and tight end Jimmy Graham (who were given veteran rest days) as well as defensive end Cameron Jordan (back injury), wide receiver Chris Olave (toe), and offensive lineman James Hurst (foot). We’ll keep tabs on their progress as the injury report updates later this week.
And it’s a full list. See for yourself:
